Pump Buddy® valves are used as an inlet control device. The valve allows variable water level settings when filling a water tank using a pump. A pump buddy valve can also be used as part of a rainwater harvesting system. It will act as a backup water supply control valve in the event of demand exceeding rainfall.

Description
Pump Buddy® valves are used as an inlet control device. The valve allows variable water level settings when filling a water tank using a pump. A pump buddy valve can also be used as part of a rainwater harvesting system. It will act as a backup water supply control valve in the event of demand exceeding rainfall.
Operating Principal
The pump buddy will be closed when both weights are submerged (maximum water level). The valve will remain closed until the bottom weight is exposed (minimum water level). The valve will then open and remain open until the maximum level is reached.
