Hydrobox Break tanks are installed as part of a pressure boosting system to supply water if the mains supply becomes insufficient.

A pressure boosting pump can be positioned within the break tank or externally dependent on the installation.

Hydrobox break tanks are used to store water so that in periods of high demand there is enough water for the pump to continue functioning.
